I looked forward to every appointment , she listened to my ideas and gave her expert opinion. Her attention to detail is second to none and the final product was amazing. I found Wendie and Perfect Fit Bridal Couture by chance when looking for somebody to alter my bridal gown and WOW I am so pleased I did. I was a little concerned about the alterations on my dress, it’s quite heavily embellished and I wasn’t sure how it would be done. Wendie made me feel completely at ease throughout the whole process and made the experience very enjoyable and gave us some great tips during the fittings. Wendie also found the perfect veil that would complement my dress. Wendie and her team managed to alter my dress and keep all the embellishments, the Fit was perfect and I felt wonderful on my wedding day. After my wedding dress shop shut down I was a loose end on where to get it fitted. I was recommended Wendie and she was more than happy to help and extremely accommodating of my situation. She fit me in straight away and couldn’t have been more welcoming! I would definitely not hesitate to use Wendie again. I also had a last minute veil blip and decided I didn’t like the one I had so wendie was more than happy to show me her collection of veils and I found the perfect one! It was ordered and I had it within a couple of weeks ready for our wedding in Cyprus! Wendie also packed my dress and all my accessories into my travel box perfectly before our departure, and when I reached the other end not a crease in sight which was perfect as it didn’t need steaming!

Wendie fitted my wedding dress over June and early July; I was getting married in Mallorca and she was very considerate of my my flight date and altered my dress perfectly! It fit very snug and It didn’t move all day; and considering the heat on the day… the dress fit very comfortably! On top of this she also packed my dress in a case for me and gave me loads of good tips before I flew out!

Finding a wedding dress was not a pleasant experience for me. That is until I went to see Wendie! Being very tall and plus sized the range of dresses available to me was small and very outdated. Wendie listened to exactly what I wanted and more importantly to what I didn’t want and we created a beautiful, flattering and unique bespoke gown for me. She was a pro every step of the way. Wendie did an amazing job getting my pronovias sample dress with overskirt down from a uk 12 to an 8. Nothing was too much trouble, she was not put off my endless lace and embellishment to remove and replace. Taking 6 fittings- I was expecting a big bill but it was so reasonable. Wendie even took in my mums dress to make sure it was perfect. Thank you so much- everyone loved our dresses and you made it all possible.

What can I say? This absolutely amazing women made my whole dream wedding a reality and I’m so lucky to be able to call her mum too. I would say I’m probably biased but I’m really not , she’s fantastic at what she does and my dresses were absolutely beautiful! People are still talking about them five weeks later. There are no words to describe how grateful and thankful I am as well as my husband.

I had 4 appointments with Wendie to have my wedding dress altered and fitted, and each time her hard-work and expertise shone through. Consequently, I had the most wonderful wedding-day and felt like a princess for all of it! My dress fit like a dream and was sooo comfortable! As she had promised, I floated down the aisle and judging by my new husband’s reaction, I looked pretty good too!

I would highly recommend the wonderful Wendie and her team for everything from full dress design to any kind of alterations.

Wendie is absolutely amazing- can not recommend highly enough! Had several fitting appointments for my dress and enjoyed every one! Wendie is very professional and friendly and makes you feel at ease from the start. She took in all the top of my dress which was much too big, altered the length and even altered my cape veil I’d bought online so it had invisible poppers to quickly take on and off which was so handy on the day! She made my “off the rack” dress look like it was made for me! I can honestly say the money I spent here (which was extremely reasonable for the quality of alterations I must say!) was the best money I spent for the wedding!

After being told by my seamstress that my alterations were impossible 6weeks before my wedding, I went into meltdown mode. Until I was recommended Wendie. Not only did she do a fantastic job with the alterations, but she managed to fit me in at extremely short notice, and as I had travelled a long distance, she also got all my work done in a day. Wendie is friendly, lovely, and extremely good at what she does. She’s like a wedding dress magician. Her boutique is beautiful. She turned me from a bride on the brink of a breakdown, to one very happy lady.

I would recommend her to anyone, and can never show her how truly grateful I am of what she did.

Wendie did an incredible job altering my size 14 Needle and Thread dress down to a size 12. I bought it on eBay from a bride who had a change of heart and I had wondered whether the size change would work because of how embellished it was. Wendie was very welcoming and reassuring and nothing was too much trouble. I was delighted with the finished result. We had hoped to get married in April 2020 and due to the coronavirus originally postponed to May 2021; however we decided to go ahead with a very small wedding in July. Wendie was able to finish the alterations at short notice. I will always be grateful and really enjoyed my trips to Leeds to her.
